CIMA Project

CIMA – Crossing Into My Art - is a concept that makes its debut with a trilogy of exhibitions – Greenland, Iceland, Africa – born from direct experiences and real encounters with places and cultures.

It represents a new stage in my artistic research and develops as the natural extension of Un monde de couleurs, a project shaped through a long‑term collaboration with ODCVL, an important French cooperative active in the social field, for which I served as an artistic ambassador.

CIMA – Crossing Into My Art - It is a threshold. A passage not necessarily toward me. I travel, and the world travels through me - people, things, expectations, noises, silences. I let myself be touched by what I encounter; sometimes I choose - a gesture, a face, a light, any small thing. Every experience becomes living matter, part of my path. From what crosses me, traces emerge - images, words, sounds. Sometimes Works are born, without the presumption of being recognized as such. They are not trophies, nor memories pinned in place. They are living forms, carrying the movement of what has been lived. And then comes the Story - exhibitions, texts, encounters. Not to explain myself, but to open a space where you, too, may enter. CIMA is not a constructed image. It is my nature taking shape as the world shapes me. For you, it is an open place - where you can pause, walk, let yourself be brushed by something you might recognize, or that might surprise you. If you feel like it - Crossing Into My Art.
